“ The dining experience was quite enjoyable, particularly due to the freshness and flavor of the pizza. It featured a well-balanced combination of sauce, cheese, and dough, no single element overwhelmed the palate. We also ordered two Italian potato balls; however, there was a noticeable difference in their quality. My potato balls tasted somewhat stale, couldnt tell if it was with the beef filling or the potato itself. In contrast, my friend's potato ball had a much better and noticeably different fresh taste. As it was a Saturday night, there was a line extending outside the pizza place, but it moved at a reasonable speed. Upon entering, customers are required to place their orders promptly, as there is no menu displayed at the front. This can be a bit challenging for first-time visitors, like myself, who may need to quickly assess the display to make a decision, creating a sense of urgency in the ordering process. Despite the busy atmosphere, we were able to find several empty tables to enjoy our meals comfortably. ”
“ The pizza, service and ambushed was really good but I wasn't expecting to pay $18.90 for two slices of pizzas... Yesssss they were specialty pizzas and they were tasty but a little expensive. ”
“ This place came highly recommended and after seeing longer lines I almost didn't eat here but I am glad that I did! I ordered the Grandma's pizza and garlic rolls. They grab a slice and throw it into the oven while you wail making it a bit awkward standing there but that is the best way to make sure it is not sitting under heat lamps. The pizza was so good, crispy but not hard. You can tell that the ingredients were fresh. Overall I believe that it is casually the best pizza I have had. Not in an over the top, making yummy noises kind of way but in a way that it knows that it is the best pizza and it is there to help you! Highly recommend and I will be back every chance I can. ”
“ Without a doubt the best pizza in the Jacksonville area. I only wish I lived closer. The white pizza with chicken cutlet was so delicious with tons of cheese. The crust wasn't too thick or too thin. The slice was huge. As big as 2 slices. I asked for some sauce on the side ( I'm a dipper) The sauce was excellent as well. My husband had the Sicilian slice and a meatloaves slice. He said it was just like NY pizza! Thomas working the cash register was totally friendly. He gave us packets of red pepper to add to our slices. And after chatting with him, turns out he's from my home town. My only recommendation is please get garlic powder. We love adding it to our pizza. Oh & remember to bring cash as they don't take credit cards. ”
“ My husband and I found this pizzeria on a humble. We we're taking a stroll on St. George's street just a couple of days shy of July 4th, and was immediately drawn to the pies sitting in the window. We vowed to ourselves we'd go return another day being that, at the time, we were stuffed. So we did! Walked in on 4th of July eve, and thankfully, the line wasn't too long. The service was decent, the staff wasn't super friendly, but friendly enough to not be turned off. Between my husband and I, we ordered a feast of options. We enjoyed so many elements of our meal, but the sauce really stood out. The caprese slice's dough was a little soggy, that's my only real gripe. My husband is an OG brooklyn cat, and felt this pizzeria brought back many memories and nostalgia of growing up there. He even mentioned, it reminded him of the old school style nyc pizza. This pizzeria is kid friendly, the service is pretty fast, and they have a vast variety of slice toppings. I can't say I'd run back, but to me, stopping in was worth the experience! ”
